I took ballroom classes when I was 13 or something. The instructor’s name was Mr. Melodia, I kid you not. I have retained some of the steps, but what I remember most is him saying, “Slow, quick, quick, slow.”
This Carp Caviar is a collaboration with Daniel Liss from Pouringdown and the PAN. We started out the same, built videos from general themes, traded them and then built our separate Carp Caviars from them. If you watch them both…you will see we went our separate ways, taking the other’s influence with us.
Collaboration is an amazing thing. Evidence: here, here, here, here, here. Also used some stuff from this man, who if you haven’t been watching, you should. Liss’ can be found here.
Carp Caviar is out.

i love this–especially the composites of dancers with oozing oil(?), and a wonderful use of sound to illustrate the themes…
