It’s been a while since I’ve posted here. I watched this, and then made this video almost directly after. There is something that Liss does, something all of us have been doing, and something I strayed from, which is capturing moments, changing them to something else, more or less, and then sharing them. I forgot. Apologies.
Make something for someone this gift-giving season. How about a video? This one is for Daniel Liss, for reminding me. Much appreciated.

the silence from bottomunion has been huge for me. a signal of something shifting. i’m not sure what.
and then this beautiful ode to the creative act. of gift-making. of picking up the shards and arranging them in new patterns. as you (and Liss) make clear - this was how it all started. so what if it is a cold basement now. those collective dreams are just dormant.
